Reiki Treatments

As a fully qualified and practicing Reiki Master Teacher Micheal offers you individual Treatments from his Gong Studio at Chase Farm near Blyth. There is a choice between a high backed reclining chair with or without foot rest, or if you prefer to lay flat there is a comfortable Chaise Longue Sofa. Micheal will explain about Reiki, gather some information from you and answer all your questions. Once you are comfortable he will offer you a blanket to keep you warm, and you can choose your own relaxing music. Micheal will have several crystals for you to hold and place over your main chakras. If you use / have your own crystals please feel free to bring these with you to be cleansed from the Reiki. These individual treatments run for around 60 minutes. If it is your first visit please allow up to 2 hours. 

Reiki treatments are £35 or for Micheal to travel to your home £40. If you book 2 or more sessions with Micheal the cost is £30 or £35 for travelling to your home.

What is Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese healing system, as well as a highly effective stress management system, which promotes calm and relaxation throughout the body. It is administered by "laying on hands", also known as "Palm Healing". It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

At the heart of this system is an intelligent and intuitive healing energy which has existed here on Earth for thousands of years. After being lost to the masses for hundreds of years It was rediscovered again by Dr Mikao Usui a Japanese Buddhist and academic over a hundred years ago.

Like Crystal and Sound therapy, Reiki is a very powerful vibrational energy, that works on the physical, mental, emotional and even spiritual level. Micheal first connects himself to the "Source" then begins channelling that Reiki energy into the client's energy system using his palms, eyes, and breath. He will work over each of the nine main Chakras and Aura to help clear away any negative energy, tension and stress and to rebalance the body's internal Ki or energy. He will ask you to commence abdominal breathing with your eyes closed. 

Your brain waves will begin to slow down taking you into an altered state of consciousness, this has the added benefit of your brain releasing powerful hormones which help counter tension, stress, and anxiety, lower stress, and work to help us feel better. while your body's Vibration will start to increase which will further help your body to heal on all levels.  

The wind is a form of energy that is felt outside of our body. And all-though we cant see it with our eyes, we know it exists because we can both feel and see the effects of it.

One interesting aspect about Reiki is that both the therapist and the client receive the healing energy together. It works on the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual levels as well as the mind. But unlike any other therapy this soothing powerful healing energy can be sent into our past, the present and even the future, to heal issues of the mind and body.      

Reiki has almost no contra indications which means clients with lymphatic cancer or other contraindications can have Reiki treatments knowing it is safe for them. Tension and stress, as well as specific conditions of the body and mind can be helped greatly with Reiki, and it provides an amazing feel good factor.               

Many clients say after their treatments that they felt a 'real' connection with the source or creator and with the universe during the healing session which was unlike anything they had experienced before. 

Reiki comes from the Creator of all things, and its vibration is considerably higher than human energy, even in those who are healthy and spiritually aware. Once the practitioner is connected to the source a number of changes start to manifest such as the vibrational rate of their body increasing substantially. Illness and disease exist in lower denser vibrational frequencies and once in contact with someone with a higher vibration rate will bring forth a transformation of positive energies, right down to the cellular level.  Negative energy begins to collapse and fall away. But as well as providing the higher healing frequencies, Reiki is also intuitive and intelligent, and the healing energy knows exactly where it is needed the most first. Then by using various hand positions will optimise your healing even more. The flow of healing energy can vary in speed, depending on certain factors such as, the severity of an illness or issues, such as stress, anxieties and negative emotions, how severe the bodies energy blockages are, and how long they have been blocked and to a certain extent even the persons readiness to accept healing. While Reiki is a very powerful modality it is also a gentle, loving compassionate energy. 

Reiki being a vibrational energy blends itself seamlessly to other therapies such as crystals and sound.
