Here Are Some Simple Techniques That Can Help;
- Start as soon as you wake up, or when you go into the bathroom with some positive affirmations to set you up for the day.
- Say Aloud or Internally," I Like Myself, I Like others, I am Liked,
- I Love Myself, I Love Others,
- I am Loved".
- "I am Kind To Myself, I Am Kind To Others, I Am Kind".
- "I Forgive Myself, I Forgive Others, I am Forgiven".
- Just 2 or 3 Minutes of Deep Breathing, e.g. Take A Deep Breath in for 4 Seconds through Your Nose or Mouth, Hold for 7 Seconds and Breath Out For 8 Seconds. (If you feel dizzy stop.)
- Say Aloud or Internally, "Every Day In Every Way Im Getting Better and Better"
- If you watch News Programs each day try to reduce this to once only.
- Instead play some music that you like .
- Try to get outside each day for some fresh air. While your out look at any plants, flowers, trees. Examine their colour , texture and shape as well as taking in their beauty. Use your nose to smell the fresh air, especially from the flowers. Listen to the sounds outside, even in an urban garden where traffic noise is present try to filter it out and listen for any birds singing, or insects as they go about their work. Try to absorb yourself in the sounds, smells and sights.
