Sunday Morning Gong bath

If you have been to one of my Gong Baths previously I look forward to welcoming you back. If you haven't you will receive a warm welcome. This session is at my Gong Studio, at Chase Farm near Asda superstore and the new Bebside railway station at Blyth. If you have not experienced a Gong Bath before don’t worry there is no clothes to remove, or ‘getting wet’. The term ‘bath’ relates to you being ‘bathed’ in sound waves, and is a very unique experience where it can feel different each time, and also different for everyone present.

Chase Farm Venue.

My Gong Studio at Chase Farm near Bebside can accommodate up to 4 guests for the Sunday Morning Gong bath and for all other events at my studio it is 3 guests. Located on Chase Farm, close to the large Asda Superstore, and the new Bebside Railway Station. (Our full postal address will be on your ticket) and there is car parking available on the drive and in front of our house. Guests can choose the cosy Chaise Longue Sofa, or a traditional Yoga Mat (three available). The Studio is warm and energised with constant daily Reiki and Sound energy filling every space of the room. Micheal uses coloured lighting to enhance each event's Intention, and each event has different Crystals to hold and place around your body to match the outcome required. Filtered Reikied water is available and on some events herbal teas are available afterwards. Should you wish to do so Guests can share their experiences and stories, ask questions as well as try their hand with my Gongs, and Drums. 

Unlike larger venues, where the instruments may seem distant or unreachable, my dedicated Studio brings these up close and personal, and creates an environment where my guests can truly witness the passion and dedication poured into every tone and overtone produced from my amazing Gongs and Drums. And being up close to the instruments, offers a more cozy, intimate atmosphere which helps to create a sense of oneness, with other guests, the Earth, as well as the Universe itself.

Your Journey Starts Right Here

You are invited onto a very special and magical Sunday morning Gong Bath. It's a journey, that will invoke your inner senses while calming,soothing and balancing your mind and body. Your destination is a place where wellbeing, relaxation and healing abide, a place where altered states of consciousness, plus high vibrational healing energy await you. It has all the benefits associated with meditation, but with minimal effort on your part. In fact the only effort is using a diferrent method of breathing, where for the first five minutes a double breath in and a long deep breath out is used, Then its normal breathing and just going with the flow, you can even allow yourself to fall asleep, and unlike meditation you will still receive the benefits.

Preparation

Please try to avoid a large meal, and any alcohol prior to arriving. It is quite normal for your body temperature to drop during a Sound Bath, and warm loose fitting clothes and socks are recommended, especially on cold days. Cushions and blankets to keep you warm and toasty during the session are available, as are the Yoga mats and eye masks. The only thing for you to bring is a smile and an open heart.

Where The Beat Goes Gong

Sound therapy is a very special and unique experience, where attendees traditionally lay down on a yoga mat with their heads facing the Gong, or in a warm cosy sleeping bag. For those who prefer to sit upright rather than being horizontal Micheal's relaxing reclined chair is a nice alternative. The sound and vibrations will flow through and saturate your body energetically, emotionally, mentally and physically. Sound therapy is a very powerful tool, allowing us to unplug ourselves from the hectic grid, and activate, and modify our states of consciousness in a positive way, to readjust the bodies natural rhythms, release tension and energy blockages, and bring inner calm and stillness, where deep healing can then occur.

Your Healing Journey Begins Here

Entry available from 10.50 for a 11 am start. Fasten your seat belts and enjoy the experience.

Once you are comfortable and settled Micheal will give a brief introduction and set the intention, which you can repeat, or you can choose your own.

He will then guide you with Deep belly breathing which uses two breaths in and a long deep breath out, as Micheal plays the Koshi chimes. This technique will remove more C02 (Carbon Dioxide) from your body than any other breathing method, together with any any stale stagnant energy that has been trapped in your body. This method is also more effective in lowering stress, anxiety and tension as well as your blood pressure and providing more relaxation for your body.

With the eyes closed, and coupled to the deep breathing your brain waves will start to slow down, going from Beta, into Alpha, which has a positive effect on the vagus nerve causing your parasympathetic nervous system to relax the bodies main organs.

The crystals you will be holding have been Reikied so you will receive both Crystal and Reiki healing energy for as long as you hold them.

For the next part Micheal will use a short guided meditation from his Qigong, called the Healing or Inner smile. This simple yet powerful exercise directs your own healing energy into your lungs and heart chakra. Micheal has handouts for you to take away and use this on yourself for all areas of your body, and together with the deep belly breathing will help maintain your wellbeing, as well as your Vibration.

As the Gong begins your brainwaves will slow further taking you beyond Alpha into Theta and for many, into Delta. Now to make your journey more "mindful" you can either focus on the healing energy from the Gong flowing through your body, or you can restart your deep belly breathing, or continue with the inner smile on other organs and parts of your body such as painful muscles, joints etc. Or as many people do, just allow your mind to wander to some nice happy, positive places, and you can even allow yourself to fall asleep if you want, and as the vibrations from the Gong enter through every part of your body, as well as your ears you will still receive all the benefits if you do fall asleep. Many people cycle through each of these.

Your bodies vibrational rate will begin to rise, to match the higher vibrations from the Sound, Crystals, and Reiki. As this happens any harmful negative energy in your body will begin to collapse, and fall away and this will initiate your body to begin healing itself Your levels of calm and relaxation will increase, plus the soothing of your nervous system, strengthening your immune and energy systems and releasing a host of hormones to make you feel good.

During the Gong Bath you will be transported on a journey where you may feel the connection with your higher self and the universe. These connections produce profound levels of peace and calmness as well as unconditional absolute love

Time itself can become strangely distorted during a Sound bath, which can make time feel longer or even shorter for some people. But eventually the session does come to an end, as the sound of the Gong gently fade away before falling silent. This is not an empty silence however, it is a sacred silence created by the Gong sounds fading away, full of intense profound healing power, many people find this part of the session the most powerful.

These journey's can resemble a day dream, where your mind can feel miles away, and unaware of your body, even though your always safe and connected

As you slowly come back down to Earth, your body will be waiting for you, but it will feel different. Less Stressed, More Calm, Balanced, Uplifted and Energised. Most people say they feel lighter, and happier, having Sensed and Felt the Warmth and Unconditional Absolute Love of the Universe. 

Congratulations you have now "Been Gonged". Micheal will allow you several minutes to soak up the fading energy, as you gently return to earth. Bottled or Filtered water is available. Micheal will encourage you to share your experience should you wish to do so and answer any questions you may have.

Is It Safe For Me?

Crystal, Reiki and Sound healing combined together are generally considered safe for most people, regardless of age or fitness level. However as a precaution they may not be recommended during pregnancy, or those diagnosed with epilepsy, seizures, or some mental health conditions, especially when taking prescribed psychotropic drugs.

This also applies to anyone who has a pacemaker or other electrical or mechanical device fitted. For those who wear a hearing it is recommended that these are turned down to avoid any discomfort. For those with any other medical condition and feel concerned please speak to your G.P, Consultant or medical practice before booking your place.

Gongs are one of the oldest and most powerful therapeutic and transformational instruments in this world. 

Above, Gongs produce a Huge Plasma Field that engulfs everyone in the Gong Space

The late theoretical physicist "David Bohm" discovered that when a Gong is played, the metal becomes “excited”, and the electrons become highly charged electromagnetically, forming a huge plasma field to be created off the Gong and both the player and listener becomes part of that field. When the vibrational activity of the Gong ends, the electrons ‘go back’ to their original atoms, and once the Gong comes to rest the energy field collapses. When the Gong is revved up again the Plasma field expands and intensifies. Thus from a scientific point the participants of the event are being electromagnetically charged in a positive, benevolent and holistic fashion. Many walk away with a natural buzz that in some case has lasted for a week. Metal is the only material known where the electrons leave their atoms and join other atoms

The Gongs have a tremendous potential for healing and rejuvenation, and are played with a variety of mallets, and styles of play to overly avoid a monotonous rhythm. Each Gong is capable of producing not only beautiful tones, but complex rich overtones. These haunting magical sounds from the gong can quickly entrain our brainwaves to slow down from the normal waking "Beta state" into the lower "Alpha" and "Theta" states and for many the journey will take them even deeper into the "Delta". state.

Although the session eventually comes to an end, as the Gongs fall silent, the benefits certainly dont. Please try to drink more fluids during this week to help flush out the toxins that will be released by your body as a result of the intensity of the combined Gong Bath.

Experiencing Energies

As with many therapies some people may experience very brief moments of anxiety, grief or sadness as harmful negative energies begin to collapse, and fall away and this is perfectly normal and beneficial, and helps to maintain our mental health. Should this happen during the Gong Bath there are several things you can do to help. Restarting your deep belly breaths will help to reground, and calm you, and using the Inner smile to smile into the memory, or situation will minimise the effect of any anxieties or other negative feelings. Micheal incorporates periods of silence or "Sandhya" between the sounds, in order to help your mind process and release any negative experiences,and feelings. Also included on this session are 7 Distant Reiki Healing sessions for all attendees.

Starting from the following evening for 7 days Micheal will send you all a Distant Crystal Reiki Healing Session, which will also helps to re-balance you and your energy.These additional sessions can be of particular help when someone experiences some sadness, grief, and anxiety. These negative aspects should all be viewed in a positive light as it indicates that the combined Crystal, Reiki and Sound energies are working to heal and restore your body and mind. Maintaining your Higher Vibration Micheal will encourage you to continue using the powerful practises of abdominal belly breathing and the Inner Smile on a regular basis, which will help maintain your higher vibration and improve your health and wellbeing. More About The Gongs

Micheal uses two Gongs on this Sunday Morning session, his large Wind and small Chau Gongs. These instruments have a tremendous potential for lowering stress, calming and healing the mind and body, as it covers the full spectrum of sound, vibrating, and massaging every one of the trillions of cells, as well as the billions upon billions of atoms that make up our body. Interestingly, many of those atoms that make up our bodies came from the Big Bang over 13 billion years ago, while others came to us from exploding stars. Gong baths attract many followers not only for the huge amount of physical, mental and emotional benefits but also, for a brief moment in time remembering the unconditional absolute Love that the Universe emanates, and that we are all connected to everything and everyone in that same Universe that we all come from, and will return to. These healing vibrations are fully absorbed and assimilated on all levels, including the Spiritual. While on this journey we are returned to an intrinsic state of homeostasis, or optimal state of functioning.
